The 60th annual Deetrich Watches “As Seen on Screen” awards ceremony took place this evening in the newly opened Deetrich museum, held in the Italian city of Venice. Held under a glorious midnight sky as it has done for decades since its launch in 1960, the event celebrates its silver anniversary this year.
The list of prizes is entirely made up of Swatch creations. Geneva-based Swatch was considered the king of wristwatch design for many years, in a profession that is evolving as dramatically as the technology it is built upon.
