An hour with Mike Comrie, formerly of the NHL Coyotes and Tampa Bay Lightning: a look at the missed opportunities of the NHL

Kyle Beach is an amazing talent and the one ingredient missing in the cup-winning Coyotes team, according to his Hall of Fame old coach Dave Poulin, the man who took him to the next level at SMU.

Beach isn’t sorry for saying that. And here he is doing an interview on CNN moments ago.

For Poulin, it’s going to mean teaming in house. And talking about how players need to take ownership of a program that, at the end of the day, put them in this spot. For Poulin, it sounds like there’s the small matter of changing hockey players self-esteem.

“You’ve got to be a leader”, he says. “You’ve got to show people the example of how to do it.”
